A chic, yet family-friendly Apulian retreat
A chic, yet family-friendly Apulian retreat
A stunning, newly-built, five-bedroom villa sleeping twelve, set on two hectares of land, dotted with 101 century-old olive trees, pomegranate and other fruit trees. Come enjoy the luxury of relaxing under them.
Stylishly furnished for and by the owners, this is no standard holiday villa, rather a chic, yet family-friendly Apulian retreat set near Ostuni. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms, four in the main villa and one in the self-standing trullo, a traditional drystone, cone-roofed construction typical of this part of Puglia. Our trullo is approximately 150 years old and sleeping in it is a very special experience indeed.
A south-facing double room directly looking at the pool and nearest to the trullo. Has its own ensuite bathroom and the perfect desk to work. Luxury embroidered linen and towels are availably in each and every room.
An east-facing double room with a fantastic view on the olive groves and the perfect spot to watch daybreak. Has its own ensuite shower, where everything has a touch of green, starting with the luxuriously soft towels.
There is plenty of space in the blue room: it comes with a custom-built quadruple bunk bed, that is suitable for adults and kids alike. Several blue details dot the room, just as there are vibrant colours all around the villa.
Another south-facing double room directly looking at the pool. Has its own en-suite with a large shower and the perfect desk to work. The upholstery is original hand-made Vietnamese fabric from the Flower H'mong tribe.
We have a beautiful heated pool and an original Lithuanian wood-fired hot tub to keep you warm all year round....
Both will make you think twice before wanting to leave this little corner of paradise, whatever the season....
A hot outdoor shower and full bathroom next to the swimming area, so you shouldn't need to go in the villa at all during the long lazy days that we hope you'll spend at Casa Tonini. A luxury holiday starts with the small things.
Outdoor kitchen (with fridge, wine cooler and dishwasher), where you will likely spend the vast majority of your time. Our idea of a relaxing villa holiday begins with comfortably making good food and enjoying it with the people we love. See full description of what we offer in the attached About Casa Tonini file.

Ostuni, Brindisi, Italy
Simply fantastic home to stay in (we stayed for a month), which I can’t recommend highly enough. A great layout for families and families sharing, with two bedrooms on one side of the house and two on the other (with one great room for four kids), plus a another room out in the trullo. It always felt spacious. Exceptionally well furnished and equipped, with two great kitchens, a beautiful pool in the centre of the spaces, generous bedrooms each with working spaces and all with en suite bathrooms. Beautifully peaceful area, out in the countryside but only 10 minutes from both Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica. Highly recommended.
The house is gorgeous, the well-kept olive garden, the house is equipped with an internal kitchen of the highest value and an external one both super-equipped, beautiful rooms, suggestive stone architecture. A very nice place and with impeccable services, from the check-in and assistance made by Clio throughout the time in Pompea for housekeeping, to the delicious dinners that can be arranged.
Stayed at Casa Tonini with a group of friends and it genuinely felt like we stumbled upon a little piece of Italian magic. The villa comfortably fit all of us, and having a traditional trulli on-site was a cool touch. The absolute highlight was having a local Italian chef whip up lunch for us in the garden - it was as authentic and delicious as it gets. The pool and outdoor shower were bonuses. A memorable stay for sure. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experience a unique Italian getaway!
